Designed by architect/AIA Fellow Richard Leitch as his own residence, the 1954 house sits on a 13,462-square-foot lot surrounded by large oak trees. As expected with mid-century houses, this one has those walls of glass and clerestory windows, and a vintage sensibility that’s kept very modern with concrete floors, stone counters, and, in the two bathrooms, cool mosaic-tile shower enclosures. Every window offers a look out to the yard, where there’s a pool, two interior courtyards, and an “entertaining platform” among the trees. The recently-restored, three-bedroom house is asking $1.175 million.
