The first-ever Chicago Architecture Biennial opens to the public this week in the birthplace of the skyscraper (that’s right—sorry New Yorkers!) but the press has already been swarming the city, ‘gramming highlights from the event for those waiting with bated breath. From exhibitions, installations, and performances, to panels and lectures, the biennial showcases a wide swath of creativity in the architecture world, old and new. It all lasts until January 3, 2016, but if you know you won’t make it and are looking to read up on all the happs, look no further than Curbed’scomprehensivecoverage, here on Curbed.com and over at Curbed Chicago.
