In the midst of its diamond anniversary celebration, Disneyland Resort is rolling out plans to build a new four-diamond luxury hotel. The Orange County Register reports that construction will begin on the 700-room hotel in 2018 with the opening planned for 2021. This will be the third AAA-rated four-diamond hotel at the resort, joining the Disneyland Hotel and the Grand Californian. More budget-conscious guests can slum it at the resort’s fourth hotel, Paradise Pier, which only has a three-diamond rating.

Hot on the heels of a steep increase in ticket prices, this might seem like a move on Disney’s part to attract a wealthier clientele—and it probably is. But, as the Register reports, the company also wants to reap the benefits of a new Anaheim policy that offers generous tax breaks for developers of four-diamond establishments. To receive this prestigious designation, Disney will have to spend at least $225,000 on each room, including $30,000 on furnishings.

As only a few early renderings have been released, plans for the new hotel are still a little fuzzy, but amenities will include two pools, a fitness center, and a rooftop restaurant offering views of Sleeping Beauty’s Castle. The project is part of a $2 billion resort upgrade that Disney is planning over the next 10 years. The most prominent new feature planned for the resort is a new Star Wars-themed land that broke ground in April.
