Marketed as an opportunity to remodel or update in a desirable neighborhood this Beverly Hills charmer—listed for nearly $2 million—certainly does have a wealth of potential. Aside from curb appeal, the house has character: old wallpaper, diamond-patterned glass windows, decorative moldings on the ceilings (including the ones in the entryway), and great built-ins (the desk in the hallway, the cabinets in the dining room).

The three bedrooms of the house, built in 1938, are a little lackluster, but the master bathroom looks to contain nice pastel tile, his and hers sinks, and a built-in mirrored vanity. The house’s other bathroom, sadly, doesn’t have the same interesting details.

The kitchen, while in need of an update, is spacious and has a nice layout, with lots of light and room to move.

The backyard, at the end of the long driveway that runs along the side of the house, is modest and in need of landscaping.

The house is listed for $1.999 million.
