Developed in the 1920s-30s, the pocket neighborhood of Reynier Village, just east of Beverlywood, is abounding in homes of the Spanish Revival persuasion, but contains only one midcentury post and beam. This rare specimen, cited as a potential historic resource by SurveyLA, has just become available for the first time in four decades via a trust sale.

Per its listing, the two-bedroom, two-bath home is “mostly in original condition with only the kitchen having gone through some updates during its lifetime.” Occupying a 6,292-square-foot lot, its features include walls of glass, a brick fireplace, a “lushly landscaped backyard” and a two-car garage.

Asking price for the 1,356-square-foot house, which is being sold “as is,” is $879,000. Open house is scheduled for Sunday between 1 and 4 p.m.
