Flippers and developers, hands off. This handsome, shingled Craftsman needs a loving buyer who will treasure it and appreciate it for everything it has to offer: built-ins, moldings, leaded windows, hardwood floors, box beam ceilings, two brick fireplaces, and a stately staircase.

Built in 1904, the 113-year-old house also has a formal dining room, and it comes in at five bedrooms, but just one bathroom. It sits on a lot measuring 6,436 square feet in Central Los Angeles’s historic Harvard Heights, a former swath of farmland that has become one of the go-to neighborhoods for preservations looking for exquisite properties.

With a careful (and likely rigorous) restoration, this two-story Craftsman could really shine.

But before you save it and restore its former glory, one last request: Please don’t paint all of its beautiful wood white.
