The high-end Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills, the brand’s first new-build establishment on the West Coast, is set to open this summer, and we’re getting a look inside the $200 million project at the prominent corner of Wilshire and Santa Monica boulevards.

The 12-story luxury hotel holds 119 guest rooms and 51 suites, each with floor-to-ceiling windows and private balconies, says a release for the hotel’s opening. Guests staying in the third floor’s Villa Suites have access to “private garden terraces.”

How much does all this luxury cost? Rooms will start at $815 a night, a representative for the hotel tells Curbed.

Designed by Gensler, Perkins + Will, the building’s curving exterior is intended to mimic the Streamline Moderne style.

Interiors were designed by Pierre-Yves Rochon, which created an Art Deco-inspired, “triple-height” lobby featuring murals of California landscape scenes and custom-made crystal chandeliers.

The hotel will also include shops and eateries, including a restaurant by famed French chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten.

The hotel’s website says it’s already accepting reservations. It officially opens on June 1.

The Waldorf’s developer Beny Alagem had approval for another section of this project that called for building two mid-rise condo towers on the property. He later decided he wanted to built a 26-story condo instead of two mid-rise towers, but failed to secure votes in last November’s election to allow him to do so.
