A new mixed use project planned for Beverly Grove could bring a whole lot of new dining options to the area.

Called Edin Park, the project would be located on Beverly Boulevard and would include nearly 25,000 square feet of restaurant space.

As our friends at Eater reported in August, most of that space will be occupied by 31 different restaurant concepts. Patrons will sit in a 1,500-square-foot dining area with 550 seats, where they will be able to order food from any of the vendors in the food hall (probably via tablet).

Planning documents published online by the city this week reveal renderings for the glassy project, which is set to rise in two segments on opposite sides of Edinburgh Ave. In addition to the many eateries, the project will also include 11,260 square feet of office space, 5,400 square feet of retail, and a synagogue on the eastern side of Edinburgh. A pair of parking lots will accommodate a total of 271 vehicles.

The food hall is one of several popping up in Los Angeles lately. One proposed in January would rise in the Miracle Mile across the street from popular restaurant Republique, while another will be included in the revamped Beverly Center—less than a mile from the Edin Park location.

If approved, the project is expected to open by 2018.
