LA Clippers forward Paul Pierce is selling a Cheviot Hills home long-occupied by his mother.

As the LA Times reports, the NBA veteran and Inglewood High School grad purchased the home in heartwarming fashion soon after signing his first contract extension with the Boston Celtics.

His mother lived in the home for the next 16 years, according to Danny Brown of the Agency, who is representing Pierce in the sale of the home. Brown also helped the basketball player find a new home for his mother (also in Cheviot Hills).

Featuring six bedrooms and five-and-a-half baths, the home includes a spacious kitchen, dining room, living room, and office area. The master suite includes a whirlpool tub-equipped bathroom and an amply-sized walk-in closet. The home is situated on a 9,292-square-foot lot and opens up to a long covered patio and a grassy backyard.
