New renderings for a 30-unit condo project on Kings Road in West Hollywood have popped up on the website for Lorcan O’Herlihy Architects, which designed the under-construction project. The complex had previously been reported as an apartment project, but a representative from developer National Construction tells Curbed it is now a condo project.

The images show the four-story 41,500-square-foot complex’s dynamic facade, a mix of perforated metal panel and wood cladding that jut out to create balconies and also keep the building from looking bulky.

When complete, the project will have a double-height entry-level courtyard, a “communal atrium,” and an amenity area with a gym and roof deck spanning parts of the third and fourth floors. It will also feature underground parking.

A rep with LOHA tells Curbed the project is likely to wrap up by late 2018.

LOHA is also working on two projects across town, in Downtown’s Arts District. One will bring 344 live/work units to the rapidly developing neighborhood, while the other will be a renovation of the headquarters of the arts nonprofit Art Share L.A.
