Beachwood Canyon has its fair share of lovely, Old Hollywood-era homes, and this regal Tudor Revival can certainly hold its own among the most handsome in the hills.

From the curb, that sloping, vaguely witchy roofline and those black exterior accents are picture-perfect.

Cross through that emerald green door and find within the house the original hardware, windows, hardwood floors, and woodwork. Of course, all the original elements have been restored and look as good as they likely did in 1940, when the house was built.

Large windows light each room, especially in the living room, where the fireplace is surrounded by handsome built-in shelves.

In the kitchen, green cabinets match the original green floor tile. Via French doors, the cooking space and eat-in area opens onto a patio and the sylvan rear yard.

The three-bedroom, 2.5-bath house measures just under 2,200 square feet. It last sold in June for slightly more than $1.261 million. It’s now listed for $1.725 million.
