Welcome to Curbed Comparisons, where we explore what you can rent or buy for a certain dollar amount in various LA ‘hoods. We’ve found five rentals within $100 of today’s price, $2,300.

↑ This charming Bel Air bungalow off Sepulveda Boulevard appears to be worlds away from the hustle and bustle of the rest of the Westside. The one-bedroom dwelling measures 900 square feet and holds hardwood floors, an updated kitchen, a working fireplace, and a parking spot. It rents for $2,295.

↑ Over on Mid-Wilshire’s southern edge, near Mid-City, this two-bedroom apartment features crown molding, scalloped-edge kitchen cabinets, hardwood floors, and on-site laundry. The top-floor unit receives “lots of light,” but if that’s not enough for you, there’s also a balcony. It rents for $2,300.
