Director and actor Vincent Gallo is selling his bright corner unit in the Arts District’s Toy Factory Lofts.

Gallo is best known for 1998’s cult favorite Buffalo ‘66 and the universally panned 2003 film The Brown Bunny, but he re-entered the spotlight this month after criticizing some of Harvey Weinstein’s victims. (Of Rose McGowan, he said: “What if, instead of taking a $100,000 payoff to remain silent, [she] filed charges against Harvey Weinstein at the time of her incident? How many future incidents would she have prevented?”)

Still interested in the place? The one-bedroom on the market now features 11-foot-tall ceilings, wrap-around industrial windows, and a large balcony. A recent remodel put a super-quiet HVAC system into the unit, and the plumbing has been upgraded too.

Measuring nearly 2,000 square foot, the loft holds two bathrooms and comes with access to the building’s amenities, which include a rooftop pool and a gym. A parking space is also included.

Gallo owns a handful of properties in the neighborhood, and he previously owned other units in this very building. This newly-listed loft is asking $1.59 million.
